A fire that broke out on the ground floor of a 5-storey abandoned building in the Tejgaon Industrial Area, has been brought under control.
“The fire broke out at 12.40 am, four fire-fighting units brought the fire under control around 1.35 pm,” said Rafi Al Farooq, duty officer at the Central Control Room of the Fire Service, while confirming the matter to The Business Post.
“No casualties were reported due to the fire in the abandoned building,” he added.
