A fire that broke out at a slum at Tejkunipara in Dhaka’s Tejgaon on Monday night, has been brought under control.
Firefighters were alerted to the incident at 7:53pm and the first unit reached the spot at 7:59pm, according to the media cell of the Fire Service and Civil Defence.
Twelve firefighting units tamed the blaze around 10:10pm, it said.
No casualty was reported in the incident and the cause of the fire could not be known immediately.
