Advocate Tapash Mazumder, the publisher of The Business Post and Dainik Amader Shomoy, passed away at his residence on early Tuesday. He was 55.
Confirming Tapash Mazumder's demise, his daughter Srila Mazumder stated that her father had been dealing with preexisting health issues. Nevertheless, his health deteriorated starting at midnight. Subsequently, his condition worsened after 2am, and he was rushed to the hospital. However, the doctors declared him dead.
The family believes that he passed away at home.

After obtaining a postgraduate degree in law Tapash held positions with responsibility in various organisations under the Unique Group. Apart from this, he played a significant role in shaping society, being associated with various social institutions.
