First Eid congregation held at Baitul Mukarram

The first congregation of the holy Eid-ul-Fitr was held at Baitul Mukarram National Mosque at 7am on Saturday. 

Imam Hafez Mufti Maulana Mizanur Rahman conducted the prayer of the first congregation and the Mukabbir was muezzin Ishaque. 

Imam gave a special sermon after two rakats of Eid prayer. 

Like every year, five congregations will be held at Baitul Mukarram National Mosque on the occasion of Eid day.

The second, third and fourth congregation will be held at 8am, 9am and 10am respectively. The fifth congregation will be held at 10:45 am.

Besides, the main congregation of Eid-ul-Fitr in the capital will be held at the National Eidgah Maidan at 8:30am. Mufti Ruhul Amin, khatib of Baitul Mukarram National Mosque, will lead that congregation.

People from all walks of life including President Abdul Hamid, Supreme Court, Justices, Cabinet members, Parliamentarians, and politicians will participate in this Jamaat. However, if the weather is unfavourable or if there is no congregation at the Eidgah. Then the main Eid congregation will be held at Baitul Mukarram National Mosque at 9am.
