Three accused in a case filed over the murder of Rajib Khan (30) gave their confessional statements before a Dhaka court on Sunday.
They are prime accused in the incident - Izar Ali, (40), Mostakul, (35) and Waliullah alias Poka (28).
Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Atiqul Islam recorded the statements of the three accused and also sent them to jail.
On Friday evening, members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested three alleged killers of Rajib Khan from Sayedabad area of the capital. A team of RAB-10 arrested them from the Mazar Gate of Saydebad Bus Terminal.
Three switch gear knives, twelve mobile phone sets and a wrist watch were seized from their possession.
Earlier on January 1, few miscreants stormed into the house of Rajib khan at Kazla in Jatrabari. They stabbed Rajib Khan and his wife Maryam Akhter. Later, both of them were rushed to the Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) where doctors declared Rajib khan dead.
Rajib Khan’s wife filed a case with Jatrabari Police Station on the next day.
