At least three people have died and several others missing in a boat capsize on Padma river.
The incident took place at around 2:00pm on Wednesday at Panka union in Shibganj upazila of Chapainawabganj.
The boat was carrying 35-40 passengers during the incident, locals said.
Members of police and fire service are conducting rescue operations, said Shibganj police station acting Officer-in-Charge Farid Hossain.
