Two people, including a policeman, were killed and 10 others injured when a train hit a bus and an auto-rickshaw in Chattogram on Saturday morning.
Sarwar Alam, officer-in-charge of the Chattogram Railway police station, said the accident occurred around 10.30am at the Jhautala level crossing of the port city.
One of the deceased was identified as Mohammad Monir, a traffic constable.
"The diesel-electric multiple unit crashed into the bus and the CNG-run auto-rickshaw at the level crossing, leaving two dead on the spot and 10 others injured," the OC said.
The injured have been admitted to Chattogram Medical College and Hospital, he added
