Eid holidaymakers suffered on Monday following a schedule disruption of the first train, delaying departures at Kamalapur Railway Station.

The Dhumketu Express train was scheduled to depart the platform at 6am, but it started for Rajshahi at 6:20am, late by 20 minutes.

However, other trains left the station at close intervals. Eight out of ten trains, including inter-city and mail trains, left the capital by 8 am, said Kamalapur Railway Station Manager Masud Sarwar.

The other intercity trains that have left so far are – Parabat Express, Nilsagar Express, Egarosindhur Provati, and Teesta Express.
