A Dhaka court on Friday sent Nazma Akhter Lopa Talukder to jail in connection with a case filed over the abduction of TSC's flower vendor Zinia.
Earlier, investigation officer (IO) police sub-inspector Md Shahjahan Miah produced Lopa before the court after end of her two-day remand in the case. The IO pleaded to keep Lopa behind bars till the end of investigation in the case.
Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Rajesh Chowdhury passed the order after a bail plea filed by the lawyer of the accused.
Earlier on September 8, a Dhaka court placed Lopa Talukder on a two-day remand in the case.
The Detective Branch's Ramna Zonal team rescued the nine-year-old girl from Amtala area under Fatulla of Narayanganj on September 7 night and arrested Lopa Talukder in this connection.
Lopa Talukder is one of the two suspects named by Zinia’s mother in the case.
