Turkey eases visa processing for journalists

Turkey has eased the visa process for journalists who are intending to cover the earthquake news.

Mustafa Osman Turan, Turkish Ambassador in Dhaka in a Facebook post on Wednesday, said, “Press visa will not be required for professional work requests received due to the earthquake in Türkiye.

“Members of the press should apply to the e-mail address [email protected] with a copy of the assignment letter, photograph and passport,” read the press note.
