Two ambulance passengers were killed when a truck collided with their vehicle in front of Ananta Garments on the Dhaka-Chattogram highway in Sonargaon's Nayabari area Saturday morning.
Three others ambulance passengers, including the patient, were injured in the accident.
The deceased are Humayun, 40 and Faruk Hossain, 35.
Moniruzzaman Monir, Kanchpur highway police officer in charge said the patient's relative, Humayun, who was inside the ambulance died on the spot, and the other died on the way to the hospital.
Doctors said that the condition of one of the injured was critical.
Preparations are underway to file a case in this regard, the police official said.
