The government has decided to put passengers coming from UK in 14-day mandatory institutional quarantine to contain the spread of new strain of Covid.
Cabinet Secretary Dr Khandaker Anwarul Islam disclosed this to the media after a cabinet meeting chaired by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
The quarantine will be arranged at Askona Hajj Camp and Uttara Diabari. However, quality hotels will also be arranged as per the demand of the passengers. But the passengers will have to bear all the expenses in that case.
The Civil Aviation Authority will be in charge to ensure the entire thing.
