Proposal made to set up BEST University

Unique Group, one of the country’s leading group-of-companies, wants to start a new journey in the higher education sector. It has taken the initiative to set up an institution titled “Bangladesh Engineering, Science and Technology (BEST) University.”

With the slogan “Best or Nothing,” Unique Group has proposed to set up a world-class higher education institution to the Department of Secondary and Higher Education, the Ministry of Education, and the University Grants Commission of Bangladesh.

Meanwhile, Unique Professional Development Academy for Training and Education (UPDATE) College, Borak Polytechnic Institute and Unique Vocational Training Center managed by Unique Group has been playing an important role in the education and creation of skilled human resources in the country.

Unique Group will build BEST University on 28 bigha land in Ashulia of the capital to create skilled human resources through higher education. Entrepreneurs hope that one day this university will be established as the best in the country, like other institutions of this group.

It should be noted that Unique Group established the first five-star hotel “The Westin Dhaka” in the private sector in Bangladesh. This hotel has already gained fame as the best five-star hotel in the country.

Unique Group has also established a five-star hotel named “The Sheraton Dhaka.”

Another company of Unique Group – Borak Real Estate's spectacular buildings grabs everyone's attention. Mohd Noor Ali, managing director of the Unique Group, has been leading human resource development and export sectors with a long standing reputation.
