The medical board formed to treat Ghoraghat Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Wahida Khanam said that her physical condition is informing.
She is currently receiving treatment at the Neuroscience Institute Hospital of the capital.
Dr Jahed Hossain, head of the Department of Neuro Trauma at the Neuroscience Institute Hospital and also the leading member of the medical board said,” Her condition is improving, the oxygen saturation and level of consciousness both have increased.’
Earlier the medical board sat down to review her situation on Saturday. The director of the hospital was present at the meeting along with six members of the medical board.
Wahida Khanam and her father Omar Ali were seriously injured in an attack by miscreants at her home on the Upazila Parishad premises early Thursday. She was airlifted to the National Institute of Neurosciences & Hospital, Dhaka from Rangpur Medical College Hospital on Thursday.
