The Bangladesh Inland Water Transport Authority has lifted a suspension on all kinds of water vessel movement in the country.
Muhammad Rafiqul Islam, director of The Bangladesh Inland Water Transport Authority's (BIWTA) Security and Traffic department, confirmed the matter Friday.
A ban on the operation of two-engine boats was lifted earlier at 12:00pm on Thursday and single-engine boats at 8:00am on Friday.
BIWTA on May 25 suspended all types of vessel movement across the country due to strong wind and strong waves in the rivers caused by cyclonic storm Yaas.
