A man was killed in a collision between a wagon train and a lorry in the Saltgola level crossing area of Chattogram city on Thursday night.
The accident took place around 9:50pm.
The deceased is Moazzem Hossain Labhlu, a resident of the Purba Madarbari Sadarghat area under Ward 30 of the city.
Chittagong Goods Port Yard Master Abdul Malek said the oil-carrying wagon train was heading towards the yard and the collision occurred as the lorry was trying to cross the level crossing.
Chattogram Medical College and Hospital (CMCH) police outpost Sub-Inspector Nurul Alam Ashek said Moazzem was brought to the hospital around 1am on Friday when the on-duty physician declared him dead.
