The weather may remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country, said a Met office forecast for the next 24 hours beginning from 9am Sunday.
Day and night temperatures may rise slightly over the country, it said.
A mild heatwave may sweep over north-western part of the country for the next 72 hours.
The country's maximum temperature on Saturday was recorded at 35.0 degrees Celsius in Rangamati while the minimum one was recorded at 21.5 degrees Celsius at Tetulia. Maximum rainfall for the last twenty-four hours till 6am Sunday was recorded by 63mm at Srimangal.
The sun sets at 6:40pm on Sunday and rises at 5:12am Monday.
