Police have arrested a woman allegedly for killing her mother by slitting her throat in Gurudashpur upazila of Natore district.
The arrestee is Boby Khatun, daughter of Selina Khatun.
Selina Khatun, mother of Boby Khatun, didn’t agree to buy her son-in-law, Bobby’s husband, a motorcycle.
At one state of altercation over the matter, Boby cut her mother’s throat with a blade on Monday evening, said Natore Superintendent of Police Liton Kumar Saha while briefing reporters about the murder.
After the murder Boby looted gold ornaments and cash 17000 of her mother.
Natore District Police and Rajshahi CID Crisis Management Team revealed the mystery of the brutal murder after collecting evidences and interrogation.
Bobby confessed to killing her mother during interrogation.
