Workshop on 'National Integrity Strategy' held at NSTU

A training workshop on “National Integrity Strategy” was held at Noakhali Science and Technology University (NSTU) on Tuesday with the participation of teachers and officials.

The NSTU Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) organised the daylong event at the IQAC Seminar Room of the Bir Muktijoddha Haji Mohammad Idris Auditorium, read a press release.

Prof Md Didar-Ul-Alam, vice-chancellor of the university, joined the workshop as the chief guest.

NSTU Treasurer and Dean of the Faculty of Education Sciences Dr Newaz Mohammed Bahadur and IQAC Additional Director Muhaimenul Islam Selim were present as special guests.

IQAC Director Prof Firoz Ahmed and Institute of Information Technology (IIT) Director Prof Mohammad Selim Hossain were the training course director and resource person.

In his speech, VC Didar-Ul-Alam said, “Training makes an official competent. Everyone has to work together to implement integrity. Universities have to play an important role to realise the visions of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, the worthy daughter of the Father of the Nation.

“In every case, we must act based on transparency and accountability,” he added.
