A writ petition has been filed with the High Court (HC) to take action against the boards of directors of three hospitals for not admitting a patient and taking more fees from her family.
Advocate Yadia Zaman, on behalf of Jebul Hossain Royal, filed the writ petition with the high court bench headed by Justice Enayetur Rahim on Monday.
The three hospitals are- Anwer Khan Modern Medical College Hospital, Chittagong Metropolitan Hospital, Medical Centre Hospital (Chattagram).
The petitioner claimed that Jebul Hosain Royal's mother was sick but both Chittagong Metropolitan Hospital and Medical Centre Hospital (Chattagram) refused to take admission.
Later, Royal's mother was shifted to Anwer Khan Modern Medical College Hospital. But the hospital took extra money from him for his mother's treatment.
