NCC Bank gets new chairman, vice-chairman

Md Abul Bashar has been elected as the new chairman of the board of directors of NCC Bank Ltd.

The bank’s board also elected Tanzina Ali as its new vice-chairman, said a press release on Thursday.

Md Abul Bashar, who was previously the bank’s vice-chairman and chairman of the audit committee, is the deputy managing director of Prime Group of Industries, and managing director of recycling division of the group and Prime Finance Consultants and Equities Ltd.

He was a director of the Bangladesh Textile Mills Association (BTMA), member of the Executive Committee of Bangladesh Association of Publicly Listed Companies (2014-2015) and member of the Executive Committee of Bangladesh Employers Federation (2015-2016).

Tanzina Ali, a finance graduate from Bryant University in US, worked as Finance Director at HG Aviation.
