Z&Z Fabric Week expo receives good response

The Z&Z Fabric Week, an exposition of locally made fabrics by Zaber & Zubair Fabrics, has been extended till September 19 after receiving good response from buyers from both home and abroad.

Around 250 local and foreign buyers visited the exposition in Dhaka from September 14 to September 16, claimed organizer.

The ninth edition of the expo, organised by Noman Group, will be held both online and physical. Though eight edition was held virtually only.

“Due to pandemic, our plan was continue till September 16, but buyers had requested us to extend the expo till September 19,” Md Shafiqur Rahman, senior general manager (sales and marketing) of Zaber & Zubair fabrics, told The Business Post.

“It is does not matter whether the expo is virtual or in-person, this expo creates a bridge between us and the buyer. We will contact these buyers physically also,” he said.

Zaber & Zubair said that some 300 products were put on display and of them, 153 were newly developed.

“All of them (fabrics) are sustainable and environmentally friendly,” claimed Z&Z authority.
