British envoy lauds BEXIMCO’s PPE plant

British High Commissioner in Dhaka Robert Chatterton Dickson has remarked that the private sector of Bangladesh has the expertise necessary to mobilise resources quickly and effectively.

The envoy made the remark during his visit to BEXIMCO Industrial Park and BEXIMCO PPE Park in Gazipur on Sunday.

A four-member delegation from the British High Commission led by Dickson along with Teressa Albor, his wife, Derek Griffiths, head of Trade and Investment, and Tom Burge, head of Governance and Political Team went to see the modern PPE manufacturing facilities inside BEXIMCO PPE Park including the Intertek Lab, which is on the same premises.

BEXIMCO PPE team demonstrated their production facilities and cutting edge technologies to produce hospital-grade gowns, coveralls, surgical masks, respirators and non-woven fabrics for local and international markets.
