State Minister for Power, Energy and Mineral Resources Nasrul Hamid said UK expatriates have the opportunity to contribute more to Bangladesh’s development.
Mentioning that Bangladesh is a fast-growing developing country, he said, “Bangladesh needs expert’s advice and services now.”
“The cooperation of expatriate Bangladeshis is needed to develop the country’s infrastructure sector, information and technology sector, power and energy sector, mineral accumulation and extraction sector, planned urbanization sector, communication sector,” the state minister was addressing a function as the chief guest organised by the Mayor of Redbridge in the UK to mark the 50th anniversary of Bangladesh’s independence.
