Patents bill placed in Parliament

Bangladesh Patents Bill, 2021 was placed in Parliament aiming to make the century-old patent law more time-befitting one and strengthen the safeguard of intellectual property rights.

Industries Minister Nurul Majid Mahmud Humayun placed the bill in the House, which was sent to the respective parliamentary standing committee for further scrutiny.
