GME Group to market Fujifilm multipurpose printers

GME Group, a pioneer in medical imaging equipment import in Bangladesh, signed an agreement with Fujifilm Business Innovation Corp to market its two multipurpose printers in Bangladesh.

GME Group Managing Director Chowdhury Hasan Mahmud said this at a press conference on Thursday.

He said the latest printers will be available in Bangladesh market in December.

The Japanese Fujifilm Business Innovation Corp, formerly known as Fuji Xerox Co Ltd, has launched two office printers – ApeosPrint C325 dw and ApeosC325 z.

“I am thrilled to partner with GME that helped bring Fujifilm Business Innovation printers here in Bangladesh. It will improve business processes and work efficiency,” said Ken Sugiyama, corporate vice-president of FujiFilm.

GME and Fujifilm have over 40 years of successful partnership, starting with the import of medical equipment, which has now expanded by adding office printers.

GME Group officials said they will ensure a one-year standard warranty, and the price ranges between Tk 50,000 and Tk 75,000.

The wireless multifunctional printers will serve the purposes of fax, photocopier and scanners, and have print option from mobile phone and pen drive.

Compared to conventional models, ApeosPrint C325 dw and Apeos C325 z have approximately 40 per cent less body volume due to the incorporation of newly developed engines.

The printers won’t compromise performance, image quality and data security, and it would support continuous printing speed of 31 sheets per minute on A4 size, 41 sheets per minute on A5 size note both in colour and black and white.
