Alesha Mart shuts operations over security reasons

E-commerce platform Alesha Mart has announced the closure of its official activities citing security reasons.

The e-firm came up with the announcement through a post on its verified Facebook page on Thursday.

“All official activities of Alesha Mart will be closed from today (Thursday) until further notice due to unforeseen and security reasons,” said the post

“We are being forced to take such a decision as some people misbehaved with our employees at our office on Wednesday,” the post added. “Note that the enforcers were not our customers, they did not have a payment schedule and did not even receive an SMS. We will resume our activities only after getting adequate security measures. We sincerely apologize for this inconvenience. Thank you for being with Alesha Mart,” the notice further said.

Alesha Mart has a corporate and a registered office in Banani. They also have another office at Nasrin Tower in Tejgaon. From there the customers are paid their dues.
