Covid: 1 death, 275 new cases reported

Bangladesh registered one more Covid related death and 275 new infections in the last 24hrs until Saturday morning.

According to the latest data, the total number of fatalities reached 28,056, while the positivity rate stood at 2.01 per cent.

After adding the fresh cases, the total number of caseloads jumped to 15,82,985, said a regular bulletin of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

The health authorities reported the latest figures after testing 13,699 samples at 851 laboratories across the country.

At the same time, 224 patients recovered from the deadly infection in the last 24 hours, raising the overall recovery to 15,47,180.

Bangladesh has so far tested 1,13,75,953 samples.

Meanwhile, the global Covid cases reached 279,011,620 and fatalities reached 5,394,176.
