ICAB, Transcom Group sign MoU over Placement Portal

The Transcom Group has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh in relation to the ICAB Placement Portal – a job bank for professionals in business, accounting and finance.

ICAB Chief Executive Officer Shubhashish Bose and Transcom Group of Companies’ CFO Md Kamrul Hassan FCA, from their respective sides, signed the agreement in the capital’s CA Bhaban on Wednesday.

Under this deal, ICAB will grant sign-in authority to the Transcom Group for posting their vacancies in the Placement Portal, while Transcom will promote it on their website.

ICAB members, current students and students aspiring for CA qualification can search for suitable jobs and articleship opportunities through this portal. The institute’s President Mahmudul Hasan Khusru FCA and Vice President and Chairperson, Information & Communication Technology Committee (ICTC) Maria Howlader FCA spoke on the occasion.

ICAB’s Chief Operating Officer Mahbub Ahmed Siddique FCA and Assistant General Manager Shakawat Hossain FCA were present at the event among others.
