Modern health facility being built to serve people: Mohd Noor Ali

A modern health facility is being established in Nawabganj of Dhaka to ensure healthcare services for the common people, Unique Group Managing Director Mohd Noor Ali has said.

“Such a good initiative has been taken from the desire to do something for the people of the area. I had the dream to implement the initiative a long time ago, but it could not be possible due to various reasons,” he said.

Noor Ali, also the managing director of Borak Real Estate, a concern of Unique Group, was addressing a MoU signing ceremony on Monday over establishing the health complex on 25 bighas of land at Churain.

Following the initiative taken by Salina Noor-BADAS Trust, Borak Real Estate and Bangladesh Diabetic Samiti (BADAS) signed a memorandum of understanding.

Unique Group and Borak Real Estate Chairperson Salina Ali and Managing Director Noor Ali, while BADAS Secretary General Md Sayef Uddin signed the MoU on behalf of their respective organisations.

At the event, Noor Ali said the standard of medical treatment should not be compromised in any way. He, however, advised BADAS to render the highest quality of healthcare services in the facility.

The modern health complex will comprise a 1,000-bed general hospital, a 200-bed cancer institute and dormitory.

Besides, there will be a medical college, an English medium school, and a nursing institute.
