The Smartphone and Tab Expo 2022 ended Saturday with better sales as companies offered lucrative discounts and gifts.

The companies offered discounts between 8 per cent and 50 per cent on various products on the occasion of the expo.

The last day of the expo witnessed huge buyers rushing to the venue and the highest number of mobile phones was sold on the day in the three-day expo that began at Bangabandhu International Conference Centre in the capital Thursday.

Sales of the tab, laptops, various accessories and software were also better at the expo.

Most of the discount offers, 8 to 10 per cent, were for smartphones. The companies also offered Television, Tk 5000 in cash, electronic device, and T-shirts through scratch card lottery and alongside EMI facilities.

The expo began on Thursday to give the users an opportunity to experience and buy the latest models of smartphones and tablet computers.

Smartphone importers and producers of various brands like Samsung, Oppo, Realme, Xiaomi, Techno, Vivo, Walton, and OnePlus attended the fair. There were also several stalls and pavilions showcasing accessories and gadgets.

Prices of smartphones at the expo ranged between Tk 8 thousand and Tk 1 lakh 80,199.

Korean brand Samsung offered the highest discount on smartphones ranging from 10 per cent to Tk 50,000 on various Samsung devices.
