Regional SME fair begins across country

The “Regional SME Products Fair 2022” begins today (Thursday) in six divisions of the country, aiming to promote the local SME sector, enhance the production of quality SME products, exhibition and introduction of SME goods for expanding business, trade and commerce.

Every year SME (Small and Medium Enterprise) Foundation organizes this fair to help the regional SME entrepreneurs by introducing them to the local markets and facilitating them in branding and marketing of their products.

A broad spectrum of locally produced different SME goods, including handicrafts, jute-made products, clothes, design and fashion wear and other products are being exhibited in thousands of stalls installed in different districts during the fair.

This year Regional SME Products Fair is going to be inaugurated from Rangpur first, and the fair will be held at five more divisions within this month, the SME Foundation sources said, adding that district administration will implement the Regional SME Products Fair under the supervision of the Divisional Commissioner.
