JICA president due July 21

Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) President Dr Akihiko Tanaka is scheduled to visit Bangladesh from July 21 to 25.

During his the five-day visit, Tanaka will call on Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on July 24, Finance Minister AHM Mustafa Kamal on July 25, and Foreign Minister A.K. Abdul Momen on July 24, sources said.

Japan is the biggest development partner of Bangladesh.

The JICA president will also hold meetings with its officials in Dhaka to understand the development of its funded projects in Bangladesh.
