TikTok, a short-form video sharing platform based in China, has removed 34,75,456 video contents made by Bangladesh nationals in the first three months of the current year for violating the community guidelines.
The global entertainment platform disclosed the information at its latest Community Guidelines Enforcement Report for Q1 2022 published on June 30.
Bangladesh ranked seventh in the world for the largest volume of videos taken down between January 1 and March 31.
Of the video contents, the removal rate before 24 hours was 97.9 per cent while the rate was 95.8 per cent before the videos had any views.
According to the report, more than 10 crore videos were taken down worldwide for violating the community guidelines.
