Lynpers to invest $5.7m in Ishwardi EPZ

M/s Lynpers Chemical Industries Ltd, a Bangladeshi company, is going to set up a Textile Chemical industry in the Ishwardi Export Processing Zone (IEPZ).

They will invest $5.7 million to produce 9 million kg of textile auxiliary chemicals like green acid, wetting and detergent, green soda, cotton levelling, polyester levelling, softener, silicon, fixing, wash off, stabilizer and sequestering per annum, said a press release issued on Sunday.

One hundred and twenty-one Bangladeshi nationals will get employment opportunities in this factory.

Bangladesh Export Processing Zones Authority (BEPZA) and Lynpers Chemical Industries Ltd signed an agreement recently at the BEPZA office in Dhaka.

Member (Investment Promotion) of BEPZA Ali Reza Mazid and Chairman of Lynpers Chemical Industries Ltd Rofiqul Islam Mondal signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations.

The Executive Chairman of BEPZA Major General Abul Kalam Mohammad Ziaur Rahman witnessed the signing ceremony.

Among others, Member (Engineering) Mohammad Faruque Alam, Member (Finance) Nafisa Banu, BEPZA Project Director EZ Hafizur Rahman, Executive Director (Investment Promotion) Tanvir Hossain, Executive Director (Enterprise Services) Khorshid Alam and Managing Director of Lynpers Chemical Industries Ltd SK Rezwanul Haque were present during the signing ceremony.
