The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh (ICAB) will organise the SAFA International Conference 2022 in Dhaka on Saturday with organisations representing accounting and auditing profession in South Asian countries.

“The conference will play an important role in international business cooperation and promotion of Bangladesh as the best investment destination,” he said.
“We have many challenges nationally, regionally and globally but we firmly believe that we can overcome all these challenges through our mutual cooperation, connectivity and unity,” he added.
ICAB Council Member Sabbir Ahmed said, “The South Asian economy still remains untapped and we could not make its proper utilisation. We will discuss how it can be utilised.”
“Our main theme will be how we can work under the same umbrella considering the economic crises and how we can move by supporting each other. We will help in sharing knowledge and information,” he added.
The theme of this year’s conference has been selected as ‘Regional Connectivity for Sustainable Growth’.
