13 cineplexes across country by 2025: Palak

The government's ICT Division is going to set up 13 new cineplexes outside Dhaka by 2025.

Under the ICT Division, Bangladesh Hi-Tech Park Authority is building these cinema halls.

The first cineplex will be inaugurated this year at Rajshahi and the remaining 12 will be constructed in phases by 2025.

ICT State Minister Zunaid Ahmed Palak came up with the announcement while talking to reporters after the screening of ‘Operation Sundarban’ in the capital on Saturday.

The state minister also informed that the movie 'Antarjal', endorsed by the ICT Division, is nearly completed.

He hoped that the movie will educate everyone about being safe in the cyber world and raise awareness among the citizens.
