The Business Post’s Appy gets JANO Media Fellowship Award

The Business Post Head of Bangla and Multimedia Afia Afrin Appy has received the Media Fellowship Award under the Joint Action for Nutrition Outcome (JANO) project.

Afrin Appy won the award for reporting on nutrition, food crisis, education, health, sanitisation and food security among teenagers in remote areas of the country.

Four journalists from national dailies and electronic media received the fellowship award at a hotel in Dhaka on Thursday.

Apart from Afrin Appy, the other awardees are- Hossain Md Sajibur Rahman, Staff Reporter of The Financial Express; Tarek Al Hasan, Sub-Editor of The Daily Prothom Alo; and Farhana Zaman, Senior Reporter of Jamuna Television.
