DU programmers become ICPC champion

The Dhaka University team ‘DU NotstrongEnough’ of the Computer Science and Engineering Department has become champion at the Asia West Continent Finals of the International Collegiate Programming Contest (ICPC).

The ‘Three of a Kind’ team of the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras and the ‘BUET Potatoes’ team of Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology become runner-up and 3rd respectively.

This competition was held on December 24, 2022, at different venues around the world.

Sixty-seven teams from different universities and colleges of Asia West Continent took part in this competition.

Team members of the ‘DU NotstrongEnough’ are Ayman Rashid, Jubayer Rahman Nirjhar, and Ayon Shahriar.

ICPC has been considered one of the most prestigious computer programming competitions in the world. Every year, the final competition is held with the participation of the top-ranked teams in various regional competitions around the world.
