Pedestrian shot during clash in Dhaka’s Gulshan

A man was shot during a clash between two people over “transferring money through MFS” near Gloria Jeans café in the capital’s Gulshan area on Sunday.

The injured was identified as Aminul Islam. A rickshaw-puller was also slightly injured during the clash.

Md Abdul Ahad, the deputy commissioner of Gulshan division, said Arif locked into an altercation with one Alim over transferring money through Bkash near Gulshan DCC Market at Gulshan-1 behind Gloria Jeans café around 4pm.

At one stage, Arif called his people and one of them opened fire that left two people wounded.

Aminul sustained a bullet injury in his leg, and rickshaw-puller Abdur Rahim received slight injuries, the DC said.

Police arrested a man from the location where the incident took place.
