Bangladesh Small and Cottage Industries Corporation (BSCIC) will provide all Export Promotion Bureau (EPB) services to entrepreneurs through its one-stop service system.
The two organisations signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to this end on Wednesday. BSCIC Chairman Muh. Mahbubur Rahman and EPB Vice Chairman AHM Ahsan have signed the MoU on behalf of their respective organisations.
Under the deal, industrial entrepreneurs will be able to receive and process applications for exporter enrolment and registration, get assistance in the issuance of Certificate of Origin, get opportunities to participate in various fairs and exhibitions held in the country and abroad, etc.
The MoU also aims to increase cooperation between the parties in training related activities and providing mutual assistance in the display and marketing of Bangladeshi products.
At present, BSCIC One Stop Service system provides different kinds of services, including industrial registration, re-registration, renewal, registration amendment, registration cancellation; contractor registration, re-registration, amendment, renewal; training programme, etc.
The system has provided a total of 12,378 services to entrepreneurs till December 2022.
