22nd int’l qirat conf in Chattogram tomorrow

The 22nd International Qirat Conference will be held on Saturday at Jamiatul Falah National Mosque in Chattogram, where world-renowned Qari Sheikh Mahmood Kamal Najjar of Egypt, Ahmad Abul Qasemi of Iran and other world-renowned ulemas will recite the Holy Quran.

Starting from 3pm, the Shahadat e Karbala Mahfil Board is organizing this conference under the sponsorships of PHP Family.

All necessary preparations for the Qirat Conference have been completed. Anjuman-e-Rahmania Ahmadiyya Sunni Trust and the Gausia Committee Bangladesh are collaborating to make the conference a success.

The information was revealed at a press conference held in the port city on Thursday where Sufi Mohamed Mizanur Rahman, chief sponsor and chairman of the Shahadat-e-Karbala Mahfil Board of Directors, urged everyone to take advantage of this rare opportunity to hear the recitation of the Holy Qur’an from the world-renowned recitalists.

“Famous people of the world are coming to our country. It is a matter of fortune to hear the recitation of the Quran in their melodious voice,” said Sufi Mohamed Mizanur Rahman.

Shahadat-e-Karbala Mahfil Board of Directors has been organizing regular Qirat Conference for 21 years. Through this conference, readers are being encouraged, he added.

While attending the press conference, Managing Director of PHP Industrial Park Amir Hossain Sohail said, “Everyone will be speechless like in the past after hearing the recitation of world famous reciters.”

In addition to Egypt and Iran, Shaykh Anwarul Hasan Bukhari of Pakistan and Sheikh Ahmad Yusuf Azhari of Bangladesh will perform Qiraat, he added.
