BSTI issues halal certificates for 50 products

Bangladesh Standards and Testing Institution (BSTI) issued halal certificates to 50 products of three organisations on Wednesday.

The certificates were issued for 30 products of Bengal Meat Processing Industries Ltd, 18 products of Pran Agro Ltd and two products of Renata Ltd, BSTI said in a press statement.

The organisation also issued management system certificates to 15 organisations. Industries Minister Nurul Majid Mahmud Humayun MP distributed the certificate as the chief guest of the event at the conference room of the industries ministry.

Industry Secretary Zakia Sultana presided over the event while State Minister for Industries Kamal Ahmed Majumder MP and Senior Vice President of FBCCI Md Mostafa Azad Chowdhury Babu presented the event as special guests.
