Submission of biometric visa application of registered Hajj pilgrims will start across the country from next Sunday, although the quota allocated for Bangladesh has not fulfilled yet.
The biometric visa application can be submitted from April 16 to April 30, according to a circular issued by the Ministry of Religious Affairs.
Meanwhile, the quota set by Saudi Arabia for Bangladeshis has not been fulfilled even after extending the Hajj registration period eight times in two months. The registration process ended on Wednesday.
According to the circular, Hajj pilgrims registered under government management can apply for biometric visas at Islamic Foundation Offices in all districts, Islamic Foundation Agargaon office in Dhaka, Islamic Foundation Baitul Mukarram Mosque office, Waqf administrator’s office, and Hajj office at Ashkona.
