Hamida Begum, mother of Bangladesh High Commissioner to Pakistan Ruhul Alam Siddique, passed away on Tuesday. She was 100. She left behind three sons, five daughters, grandsons, granddaughters and a host of relatives to mourn her death.
She was buried at Dattapara graveyard in Sirajganj's Ullapara upazila after Asr prayers following a namaz-e-janaza on Wednesday. Foreign Minister Hasan Mahmud expressed deep shock over the death of Hamida Begum and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family members.
