Police recovered the body of a businessman from a godown located at Halishahar Thana of Chattogram City.
The deceased was identified as Abu Motaleb, a resident of Cumilla's Chauddagram upazila.
Locals spotted the body at the godown of Jahanara Mansion where victim Motaleb used to live around 3 pm and informed the police.
On information, police went to the spot and recovered the body, said Md Saiful Islam, investigating officer at Halishahar police station.
The body was sent to Chittagong Medical College Hospital for an autopsy.
The details would be informed after receiving the autopsy report, said the officer.
