Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Friday expressed profound shock and sorrow at the death of valiant freedom fighter Taib Ali Joardar, elder brother of Jhenaidah District Awami League's Vice-President Md Nayeb Ali Joarder, MP.
In a condolence message, the premier prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family, said a press release signed by AL Office Secretary Barrister Biplab Barua.
Taib Ali breathed his last on Friday morning while undergoing treatment in a city hospital, reports BSS.
He was 70.
He left behind his wife, a son, a daughter and a host of relatives and admirers to mourn his death.
