Shirin Akter, beloved mother of The Business Post (TBP) journalist Sakhawat Hossain Sumon, has passed away (Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un). She was suffering from a number of health complications for the last few years.
Shirin Akter is survived by three sons, one daughter, and countless well wishers.
