Adani Group Chairman Gautam Adani has now become the richest man in India and 10th richest person in the world.
According to Forbes' Real-Time Billionaire's list on Friday, Adani surpassed Mukesh Ambani, chairman and managing director of Reliance Industries Limited, to become the richest Indian.
Adani jumped to the 10th position on the Forbes’ list as his net wealth increased by $637 million to $91.1 billion.
On the other hand, Ambani slipped to the 11th spot after losing $794 million. His current net worth stands at $89.2 billion.
Meanwhile, Adani also surpassed Mark Zuckerberg, who lost $29 billion in net worth on Thursday as Meta Platforms Inc’s stock marked a record one-day plunge.
