BEZA executive chairman pays tribute to Bangabandhu

The newly appointed executive chairman of Bangladesh Economic Zones Authority (BEZA) at the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) Dr Md Sarwar Bari today paid rich tributes to Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman by placing a wreath at his mausoleum at Tungipara in Gopalganj.

After laying the wreath, the BEZA executive chairman stood in solemn silence for some time as a mark of profound respect to the memory of the Father of the Nation, reports BSS.

Later, he offered munajat seeking eternal peace for the departed souls of Bangabandhu and other martyrs who had to embrace martyrdom on the fateful August 15, 1975.

A special prayer was also offered for the longevity of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and her family members.

The executive chairman signed the visitors' book at the administrative building of the Tungipara Mausoleum Complex.

Director (Administration) of  Bangladesh Economic Zone Authority (BEZA) Mohammad Nazmul Hasan, Director (Plan-4) Nazmul Alam, Director (Plan-6) Asfia Sultana, Additional Deputy Commissioner (Revenue) of  Gopalganj district Farhana Jahan Upma, Tungipara Upazila Nirbahi  Officer (UNO)  Md Moinul Haque, Vice-President of Tungipara Upazila Awami League Md Elias Hossain and Tungipara Municipal Awami League President Sheikh Saiful Islam, among others, were present.
